Trying out the latest LJ client (installation file located here). So far, it looks good. I'm going to start using the client for posting more often.
I have another couple of ideas about LJ usage polls. I'll probably post them here, but I'm interested to know if there are any communities dedicated to polls. There's probably a lot of people here who would be interested in submitting their opinions about specific LJ-related (or other) topics.
As with so many other ideas, it probably just needs someone to spearhead it, to get it started. Once it's started, people can worry about how the process should unfold. That's a painful distinction for some companies to make, though, mine included. There are so many ideas floating around that could be implemented relatively easily with a certain amount of focused and sustained effort. And not too much effort, and not too-long sustained, either: it's so much simpler than everyone thinks.
