You OWE it to yourself to probe more deeply. You may not think you have the drive or interest; you may not think it's important to do it; you may not think we humans were meant to do it. But don't land on conclusions about that without giving the shit its due thought and contemplation. If you can debate your disinterest convincingly with yourself, fine. But if you're still spinning in circles and not saying anything concrete, then keep probing deeper. Understand yourself fully, know yourself best, get to the bottom of this personality of yours to see what's at the bottom of that barrel. It's a waste of energy to skim from the top and pretend that there's nothing of importance underneath. Don't be satisfied with anything you find. You can always make yourself go deeper and understand yourself even more.
