retaliation, and discussion regarding what to do about Bin Laden

An article that lightmare recently referred to on retaliation etc. I particularly liked the discussion about how Bush's upcoming decisions could contribute negatively or positively to the development of a feasible international precedent for dealing with terrorism, depending on what he does. I get shudders when I hear quotes about how this is going to be the first world war of the 21st century. I wasn't aware we needed to ring in the new millennium with a new world war, myself.

I tried some news a couple hours ago, and was disappointed to see that the headlines on CNN have changed from Attack on America to America's New War. Christ, who makes those kind of production decisions, anyway? The whole world is watching CNN right now, for Christ's sake.

Gotham Chopra, the son of Deepak Chopra, the well-known spiritual teacher and philosopher, wrote an interesting article about his experiences this week. I like the little gem his dad has been telling them since they were kids: Christ was not a Christian, Mohammed was not a Muslim, Buddha was not a Buddhist, and Krishna was not a Hindu.
