After Z's third feeding at 13h00, we went to Jerry's new condo for an afternoon visit. Had a great time with him, an it was nice to have Zoë and Jerry get to know each other a little better. She only stayed awake for about an hour before crashing for a nap, but she was in a happy mood while she was awake.

Met B for dinner at the hospital afterwards, since she's on call tonight and will be working there overnight. Z and I will pick her up tomorrow morning after her second feeding around 10h00, and then we'll be spending the afternoon running errands.

Everything feels perfect, just as it should.

Jerry also said a neat thing to characterize Z's actions. He thought it was like watching the sky. The sky has its own natural patterns and movements, and a baby's movements can be categorized in a similar way. It was a nice analogy, I thought -- if you watch her for even one or two minutes, she a great number of feelings and emotions pass over her face seemingly of their own accord. Most of them have to do with smiling though, which makes her a delightful little baby to be around.

PS - If anyone here is interested in nonduality or nondualism but is not a member of the [livejournal.com profile] nonduality community, you should read this post. I'd be interested to hear what you think.
