sabbatical -- great concept

The term "sabbatical" came to me spontaneously when I was explaining to my principal (and currently, only) market research client that I was taking a break from the business for at least a year. He told me that he was happy for me personally, but that he felt a great sense of loss of a good business partner. I thanked him on the phone, and also sent this follow-up note. It brings about a nice closure to this professional chapter in my life.
