playing live tonight!

Our quartet is doing a private function at Dalhousie University, but it is a gig no less, and I'm grateful to have the opportunity to play. I've been truly swamped with other more urgent tasks than listening to or playing music lately, and I've missed the chance to play out. The group is also rehearsing next Monday, then recording the next Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, late. Looking forward to that, too -- although I'm out of practice, which sucks a bit!

Incidentally, I'd love to have been at the club the night Sonny Rollins recorded the set I'm listening to right now. GodDAMN, that cat swung soooooo haaaaaarrd...
