Paid member extension? What?

According to this, there was a week-long membership extension offered to paid members as a result of the power outage awhile ago. How did I miss that notification? Did anyone else catch it? It's over now, the bastards. I didn't see anything!

(Edit: I see now that it was issued the day before Max was born. I guess that's why I missed it.)
