looking for old computer stories

Discussion started here - see my comment about the old Tandy laptop we had. Who else has some fun computer nostalgia to share? When was your first computer? What kind was it? Do you remember how much memory it had? How fast it ran? How much it cost?

I think the machine we got to replace that Tandy had a 10 MB hard drive, which seemed pretty amazing at the time. It also had an amber monitor, which I thought was cool. All my friends' computers had green monitors.
