iamomHad a great hang with an old friend from high school and the beginning of university tonight. Slightly regretful that I couldn't have met him for at least one other evening earlier in this holiday, I was nonetheless happy to hook up with him and catch up from the last 5 years or so.
In a slightly introspective mood tonight, and really enjoyed the meandering route I took back home tonight. Passed by the Porsche dealership to admire the two gorgeous 911 Turbos they have on display in the showroom, and pretended that I was driving one down the curvy parts of Elbow Drive.

nt tonight, wondering where he is in Calgary this evening and what he's up to. If I lived here, I'd probably try to have a coffee with him or something. I wonder if there's an active RL LJ community in Calgary.
Z's unfortunately fairly sick today, either from a virus or perhaps a new food allergy. For some reason, I feel reasonably confident that it's not a food allergy, because several friends and family have come down with a mild flu while we've been here. Anyway, she hasn't been one for visiting since Saturday, and since we leave this weekend, the heat is on to squeeze in some more visits with my side of the family. We'll see how she feels tomorrow before deciding whether or not I should spend the day at my mom's place.
