Saw this site mentioned in this morning's NDHighlights. There's a series of beautiful photomicrographs of individual snow crystals taken by Wilson Bentley, ca 1925. Apparently he was the first person to figure out how to photograph a snowflake, and after shooting over 5 thousand of them, he never did see two that were alike.
