This is really the first time in my life I've ever meditated daily. Or at least, regularly. Previously, my biggest obstacles were logistical: I didn't think I had enough time to meditate, or there was something physical holding me back (e.g. a sore back, no good cushion, etc.). Admittedly, lots of times I just didn't feel like it, too. Or didn't think I needed it.
However it happened, it happened. I now routinely take between 2 and 20 minutes to sit still, relax my muscles, and calm my breathing. I just close my eyes wherever I happen to be, take a slow deep breath, and calm everything down.
Once my mind and breathing are quiet, I just sit there for as long as it feels comfortable to do so.
nothing could feel more natural
