The single thought that occupies my mind the most throughout each day is enlightenment. Not enlightenment as a state to which I aspire, but rather as a permanent state, or just our basic nature. I think that regardless of what we think, nature rolls right along according to its own will. In fact, I think that nature's will is our own -- we just each like to affix different labels to ourselves as though we were separate and unique from each other.
But the fact is, nothing is separate or unique from anything else, since it all comes inextricably from the same source. Enlightenment, if it is anything, is simply accepting that fact. One's apparent thoughts, speech and actions will unfold naturally from that acceptance. There is no other way.
