iamomI was just watching an incredibly well-done documentary by PBS's Frontline on the history of US involvement in the Middle East. Osama Bin Laden's personal history was also placed very well in context.
Frontline's main page is here. A lot of information and even interviews with Bin Laden can be found here. I would encourage anyone to read up on him and his personal history. It's enormously instructive to learn more about who he is as a person, and what his motivations are.
